Multiple Emmy-winner Heather Tom (Katie) has stepped behind the camera at The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) to direct episodes. She’s now put her director’s hat on again for an exciting new project.
Tom has directed a short film, Serenity, which deals with the topical issue of opioid addiction.
It is, Tom says, “a subject that too many of us have a connection to. We brought (Serenity) to the Cannes Film Festival this past summer and Vince Nappo, our lead, recently won Best Actor at LA Shorts Fest 2017….his performance is not to be missed!”
The film is described as the story of a man recounting his tale of addiction, recovery, family, and regret during a Narcotics Anonymous meeting that is anything but ordinary.
It’s simple to view the film. Simply go to www.Indievue.com and register with an email and password.
“Join me tonight [Monday, January 8] on www.IndieVue.com at 6pm pacific/9pm eastern to watch!” Tom says. “I’ll be doing a live chat and I would love to hear your feedback and experiences!”
The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
