Interference from Li Finnegan aside, RJ Forrester is basking in his budding romance with Luna Nozawa. And his portrayer, Joshua Hoffman, has his own reasons for celebration.
That’s because Hoffman was born on October 16, 1999, in Santa Monica, California, which means that this talented young thespian is turning 24 years old today.
Though his earliest professional credit is a short film titled Circle, Hoffman rose to prominence via guest starring roles on series such Shameless, Girl Meets World, and Every Witch Way before landing a plum part on the Nickelodeon sitcom Talia in the Kitchen.
In addition, Hoffman has appeared in episodes of Code Black and Criminal Minds, several other short films, and features such as Dead Night and Deadly Runaway (opposite Bold and the Beautiful alum and Days of our Lives star Linsey Godfrey).
Hoffman has been playing Ridge Forrester JR, AKA RJ, son of fan-favorite supercouple Brooke and Ridge, on B&B since April 21, 2023.
When he’s not on a soundstage, Hoffman (who’s fluent in American Sign Language and an accomplished athlete) busies himself composing music, shredding on several string instruments (including guitar, violin, and ukulele), and indulging in Parkour (the practice of traversing obstacles). He moonlights under the stage name Calvin Kingston and has his own clothing brand for skaters, ZList.
