Since she just learned she wouldn’t be charged with killing Sheila, things are coming up roses for Steffy Forrester Finnegan on The Bold and the Beautiful. It’s a great time for performer Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, too, because today, she’s celebrating a significant milestone.
Happy Birthday, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
That’s because she was born on April 17, 1987, in Windsor, Ontario, which means that this much-beloved actress is turning 37 years old today!
After achieving recognition for her work in commercials for First Choice haircutters, Wood decided to relocate to Toronto to pursue a career in acting. Between 2006 and 2008, she appeared in episodes of Runaway, Lovebites, MVP, and Gamer Girlz, as well as the TV movie Nightmare at the End of the Hall. In June of 2008, Wood joined the cast of B&B.
Her work as Steffy Forrester has resulted in six Daytime Emmy Nominations (2012, 2013, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2023) and three wins — the 2019, 2021, and 2023 statuettes for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Wood also snagged the Soap Hub Award for Favorite Actress in 2021.
Wood’s other acting credits include guest appearances on programs such as Anger Management, Castle, 19-2, and South Beach, as well as starring roles in TV movies (Skyrunners, Turn the Beat Around, and Her Husband’s Betrayal). She is also well known for her turn as Olivia Castle in the horror film Final Destination 5.
In 2012, Wood released two popular singles — “After Hours” and “Girl You Knew” — and one year later, she served as hostess of Party On, an original reality series that aired on E!
She has been married to Elan Ruspoli since July 2018, and together, they welcomed their first son in March of 2019 and the second in February of 2021. The couple’s third boy arrived in May of 2022. In August 2023, she gave birth to their 4th son. Wood dedicates herself to spreading awareness about pet rescue organizations in her spare time.
Soap Hub would like to wish Jacqueline MacInnes Wood a very happy birthday and many more.
