Beloved Soap Opera Veteran Adrienne Frantz Celebrates Her Birthday

It’s been quite a while since Adrienne Frantz has been seen on a daytime soap other than her cameo in Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem. But fans still celebrate any time the actress appears onscreen. And now the beloved star has a reason all her own to celebrate.

Happy Birthday, Adrienne Frantz!

That’s because she was born on June 7, 1978, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, which means that this fan-favorite is turning 46 years old today! Frantz’s television debut happened in 1997 when she joined the inaugural cast of NBC’s Sunset Beach.

For most of that year, Frantz played teenage runaway/street urchin Tiffany Thorne. Then, she left the show to originate the part of Amber Moore on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Adrienne Frantz’s work as the Lolita-type waitress turned babysitter turned Forrester family-in-law won her a fair amount of acclaim and resulted in her receiving a Daytime Emmy Award (for Outstanding Younger Actress).

Frantz remained at B&B until 2005, at which point she left in order to pursue a career in music. She recorded a single, “Anomaly,” and then joined the cast of The Young and the Restless, where she reprised her Amber Moore character.

Frantz was on that soap from November 2006 to May 2010. She then returned to B&B from July of 2010 to 2012 — still playing Amber. Frantz’s other acting credits include the feature films Jimmy Zip, Speedway Junky, Ed Gein: The Butcher of Plainfield, and Hack! The latter film also starred Frantz’s B&B co-star, Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe), and daytime alum Travis Schuldt (ex-Ethan Crane, Passions).

Frantz has also guest-starred on Six Feet Under, That ’70s Show, and Justified. She’s also appeared in a number of television movies, including The Perfect Girlfriend and Maternal Instinct.
