B&B’s Matthew Atkinson Is Getting Married Today

It’s up in the air whether or not Thomas Forrester and Hope Logan tie the knot again on The Bold and the Beautiful, but Matthew Atkinson, Thomas’s portrayer, is getting hitched in real-life. The actor is marrying fiancée Brytnee Ratledge, an actress.

The couple got engaged back in June. Word leaked out on social media that the ceremony was happening today when a contingent of B&B folks posted on social media in stories that they were off to a wedding via plane.

Kimberlin Brown (Sheila) posted a photo on Instagram of a pre-wedding celebration at the Flatstick Pub Tahoe in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. You can see in the photo below the bride and groom embracing each other as they’re surrounded by Brown, Scott Clifton (Liam), Ashley Jones (Bridget), Casey Kasprzyk, Supervising Producer, and Rachel Herman, Associate Producer.

Atkinson and Ratledge attended the wedding of Atkinson’s cousin last month in Atlanta, which got the actor in the mood for his own ceremony. “Us, at my cousin’s wedding. Taking notes,” Atkinson posted. “Thanks to @sethanhill for designing this suit! It’s so good that I’ve got another on the way.”

“I hope bryt caught the bouquet,” posted @sam.raffellini in the Instagram post about the October wedding. “Wouldn’t that be unfair to the single girls?” Atkinson replied. Another poster commented on what looked like comfortable white shoes Atkinson was wearing in the photo.

“You look so lovely! I can’t help but notice that I feel certain your feet are much more comfy than Brytnee’s!” posted @kymw. “Why can’t women wear tennies to formal events?? So unfair 🤪.” Atkinson replied: “Who’s stopping you? I’m all in. In fact, I think I suggested them to Brytnee.”
