Time will tell if Wyatt and Flo are going to have a great marriage or not on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, Darin Brooks and his real-life wife, Kelly Kruger, recently shared some advice that might be helpful to Wyatt and Flo and others who are looking for love.
Kruger and Brooks sat down on the occasion of Valentine’s Day to share some love advice for their followers. The actress, best known as playing Mac on The Young and the Restless, and who recurs as Eva on B&B, cited her in-laws as an example of a successful couple. “Darin’s parents have been married for more than 50 years, and I come from a broken home,” Kruger revealed.
“When we got married about six years ago,” Kruger continues. “Six…anyway, coming up on seven…” This slip prompted Darin Brooks to playfully quip to his wife, “You don’t remember?” Kruger chuckled but kept going on with her story. She said that her father-in-law, at her and Brooks’s wedding, gave some great advice.
“He shared the secret to a long, lasting, happy relationship,” Kruger says. “We wanted to share it with you guys if you’re looking for that long-lasting relationship. It’s really helped us, and we want to help you.”
Kruger then invited Darin Brooks to repeat the advice from his pop. “‘Happy wife, happy life,'” the actor simply stated. “That’s right,” Kruger said just before she repeated the sage wisdom. Well, she attempted to. “‘Happy life, happy life…I mean, ‘Happy wife, happy life!’
“How about ‘Happy man, happy land,'” Kruger offered with a grin. Check out the adorable video below, which is set, appropriately, to the tune Love Is In the Air by John Paul Young. Brooks and Kruger closed up their video by wishing everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day.
