B&B Star Heather Tom Welcomes a New Addition to Her Family

Like her Bold and the Beautiful character Katie Logan, Heather Tom is fiercely loyal to her family. The actress recently announced her real-life brood has grown and is joyfully sharing the news of the latest family member.

Heather Tom Has Big News to Share

“Meet our new baby girl Rosie!” Heather Tom posted on Instagram, showing a photo of her family’s new dog. “So sweet and smart! Ella’s new pal and Zane’s first puppy.” The proud mama says that her son has agreed to pick up after his new pet after Rosie, shall we say, does her duty! “[W]e’ll see,” the actress says with a smile.

Tom gives her thanks to @loveeorescue, the outfit who rescued Rosie and for all that they do for our beloved four-legged friends. “I love her one ear that sticks straight up!! (Also has a chunk of it taken out from another dog…but gives her cred!),” Tom commented in her post.

Let’s Hear it for Rosie!

B&B colleagues are already sending well wishes to Tom on adding Rosie to her family. “Congratulations,” wrote Annika Noelle, “she’s absolutely adorable.” Don Diamont (Bill) expressed his thoughts with simple heart and smiley face emojis. “She’s beautiful!” adds Eva Basler, B&B’s Vice President, Communications & Talent Relations.

PETA, the organization that stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, also weighed in on Tom’s news: “So precious! Looks like Rosie is loving her new home. We appreciate you helping homeless animals and promoting adoption…”

Heather Tom — Celebrated Actress

Tom first made the soap opera scene in 1990 as Victoria Newman on Young and the Restless, where she earned two Daytime Emmys in the category of Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in a Drama Series. The actress left Y&R in 2003 and later, joined the cast of One Life to Live as Kelly Cramer.

Next, she returned to Los Angeles to take on the role of B&B’s Katie. The actress has been awarded four times with Daytime Emmys for her portrayal of the youngest Logan sister. Soap Hub congratulates Tom on welcoming Rosie into her family!
