B&B Comings and Goings: Winsor Harmon & Ashley Jones Are Returning

Uh-oh. Eric’s health might be taking a turn for the worse on Bold and the Beautiful. Not only is his son Thorne coming back onto the scene but so is his doctor daughter Bridget. Watch for Winsor Harmon and Ashley Jones to begin airing early next month.

Winsor Harmon & Ashley Jones Are Back

According to TV Insider, Harmon is set to reprise Thorne on Tuesday, December 5. Jones will show up onscreen the next day as Bridget, Wednesday, December 6. Most of Eric’s children have been absent from the canvas for a while now. However, in light of his recent health woes, it’s only natural that a few of them (at least) would start making appearances.

One of the last times the Forrester clan all got together was when Stephanie (Susan Flannery) was dying and gathered her loved ones to bid a final farewell a little over a decade ago. Is that what’s happening with Eric (John McCook)?

Eric Forrester Is In Crisis

McCook won the 2022 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work in Eric’s erectile dysfunction storyline. It turned out that it was just Quinn (Rena Sofer) with whom Eric had trouble being intimate. He couldn’t get past her feelings for Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). However, Eric had zero problems being frisky with ex-wife Donna (Jennifer Gareis). Donna has been by Eric’s side through his recent health and work challenges.

Winsor Harmon: Thorne in B&B’s Side

Multiple actors have played the parts of Thorne and Bridget over the years. Clayton Norcross originated the role of Thorne in 1987. Two years later, B&B recast the part with Jeff Trachta. In 1996, Winsor Harmon, fresh off a stint from All My Children (as Del), was hired to play Thorne. Ingo Rademacher (ex-Jax, General Hospital) played Thorne for about a year starting in 2017.

Keeping Up With Ashley Jones

Ashley Jones took over the part of Bridget in 2004. The role had previously been played by three-time Daytime Emmy-winner Jennifer Finnigan (Tyrant) and Agnes Bruckner (The Anna Nicole Story). Jones has recurred on B&B in recent years as Bridget has appeared in medical storylines and at holiday and/or family gatherings.
