Ashleigh Brewer on B&B.
Ivy Forrester didn’t find her true love on The Bold and the Beautiful, but, her portrayer, Ashleigh Brewer has some big news to share on the romance front.
“The greatest human I’ve ever met wants to marry me!! 💍🥳✨We’re engaged!!!” Brewer announced in an Instagram post that shared a photo of herself and her fiancé, Mark Bauch that was taken in England. “I love you beyond measure.”
Bauch is a film producer whose credits include The Two Popes, The Karma Coalition, Into the Fire, and Spy Hunter.
Brewer’s B&B pals weighed in with thoughtful messages on her post. Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) may have pushed Ivy into the Seine in order to keep Liam (Scott Clifton) from meeting up with Hope (Annika Noelle) so he could propose marriage, but off-screen Sofer had nothing but support for Brewer. “Congratulations!!!” she posted. “Thank you! Miss YOU!!” Brewer responded to Sofer.
Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) exclaimed: “CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!” Noelle, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Darin Brooks (Wyatt), and Kelly Kruger (who recurs as Forrester publicist Eva) also all weighed in with congratulatory responses.
Before making her B&B debut in 2014, Brewer appeared in the Australian soap Neighbours. She was introduced to domestic soap fans as Ivy Forrester, the half-sister of Jessica Forrester (Maitland Ward), Eric’s (John McCook) niece. Like Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope, Ivy found herself torn between Liam and Wyatt (Darin Brooks).
Ivy believed she didn’t have dual citizenship, courtesy of her dad John (Fred Willard) being an American citizen, which led to a brief marriage to Liam so she could remain in the United States. During the character’s stay in Los Angeles, she took a tumble down the stairs at the Forrester mansion and was also electrocuted!
After exiting B&B, Brewer joined the cast of Australian soap Home & Away as Chelsea Campbell. Soap Hub joins Brewer’s B&B pals in wishing her and Bauch congratulations on their upcoming marriage.
