While his The Bold and Beautiful alter-ego only had to deal with metaphorical fires, Rome Flynn will soon battle the real deal — or, at the very least, some awfully convincing CGI flames — on his latest series.
Rome Flynn Lands Fiery New Gig
The former Zende Forrester Dominguez actor has been tapped to appear in Dick Wolf’s Chicago Fire. And, while the role is currently designated as recurring, there exists a very real possibility that Flynn could join the cast on a permanent basis.
Per Deadline, Flynn will portray Jake Gibson, “a quietly confident former amateur boxer with a dark past. The physically fit and fearless Jake earns a spot on Truck 51’s radar thanks to a heroic act.”
Since his exit from The Bold and the Beautiful, Flynn has racked up a plethora of credits, including OWN’s The Haves and the Have Nots, ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder (click here for his memories on working on the time-bending, mystery-packed thriller), Netflix’s Dear White People, and feature films With Love and Fantasy Football.
Look for Flynn to make his Chicago Fire debut on January 24, 2024, the Season 12’s second episode.
