Bold and the Beautiful August 15: Why Finn Should Tell Steffy About Hope’s Kiss

The first order of business is to acknowledge that the kiss between Hope and Finn at the Rock On party actually happened. It wasn’t a dream. Second, Finn wanted nothing to do with said smooch, which is why he texted his so-called friend to meet him at his office at the hospital. And while we wish the discussion took up more quality time in the Thursday, August 15 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, we were happy to see that Finn let Hope know what’s what. However, he also told her he’d fill Steffy in on Hope’s shenanigans. Will he? We have doubts.

Secret Kisses

Before Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood — here’s what she’s been up to lately) went their separate ways to work, Finn slightly attempted to come clean about the kiss. Steffy brushed it off and suggested they talk that night. Then the good doctor texted Hope (Annika Noelle), demanding she meet him. Well, he did use one exclamation point in the text, so to us, that means he demanded.

As soon as Hope walked into Finn’s office, he started his tirade. He wanted to know what she was thinking. Once again, he conveyed his absolute commitment to Steffy. Also, he knew he messed up with the Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) business, so he needed to keep his business clean. After all, he wanted his wife to completely trust him again. And so it doesn’t matter that Hope wanted to keep a lid on the kiss. He said he would tell his wife. He can’t break her trust.

Meanwhile, Hope knows what will happen if Steffy hears about this kiss. That’ll be the end of Hope for the Future. And it might be the end of Brooke’s Bedroom Line, too, because the co-CEO will think Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) lied to her about not wanting to make Steffy’s life hell. However, Finn shouldn’t let anything get in the way of his confession. Should his wife find out on her own, she will, no doubt, be done with her husband. After rescuing Sheila and attending her wedding to Deacon (Sean Kanan), he has been on shaky ground with her. Mix in a kiss that meant nothing to him, and then she’d hate that he protected Hope’s interests and kept quiet. This all means he would take yet another person’s side over his wife’s.

In addition, should Finn tell Steffy now, he could eventually take the moral high ground later. Because how long has Steffy kept her kisses with Liam (Scott Clifton) a secret? Speaking of which, are those secret kisses ever going to be made public? Because they are there. And they would only serve to add to this whole Steffy/Finn/Hope/Liam/Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) /Paris (Diamond White) mess.

You know Steffy would rage over Hope kissing her husband. RAGE. Hope would be lucky to still have a job when the dust settles. And then Finn finds out about her kisses with Liam? We would love to see how this all plays out. So, hopefully, those Steffy/Liam moments aren’t dead and buried forever.
