When Ashley Jones joined The Bold and the Beautiful as Bridget it changed her life. Not only did she earn fame, but she also gained a close-knit bond with her castmates.
Second Family
Jones made her debut as Bridget in 2004. The actress has previous soap experience, playing Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless from 1997 to 2001. Being cast as Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric’s (John McCook) daughter on B&B was a huge opportunity.
The actress immediately made the role her own as Bridget was thrust into romantic and family drama. Who could forget her famous love triangle with Nick (Jack Wagner) and Brooke? Or becoming pregnant by Jackie’s (Lesley-Anne Down) husband, Owen (Brandon Beemer)?
Jones remained on the show until 2012, when she left to pursue other projects. However, she’s made several returns as Bridget over the years.
The actress remains close with her co-stars and loves spending time with them on and off the set. Recently, she joined her castmates at a party for the show’s 38th anniversary. The event had the star feeling sentimental as she posted a touching tribute on Instagram.
“I joined the show late 2004…it’s been an honor to play Bridget for so long…and return often all these years,” she wrote in the caption. “Thx for being here with us — watching and going on all our adventures. These people are like family. They have become pillars in life…forever grateful.”
Jone is still part of the B&B family and is the longest-running actress to play Bridget. While Bridget is living in New York with her son Logan, she visits Los Angeles regularly. Her last appearance came in December 2024 in the midst of Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) takeover of Forrester Creations.
Wonder what Forrester and Logan family drama will be brewing when Bridget makes her next visit?
