7 Things to Know About Bold and the Beautiful’s Laneya Grace

A new younger woman is heading to The Bold and the Beautiful, patriarch Eric Forrester’s beautiful great-niece, Electra. Daytime newcomer Laneya Grace has been cast in the sure-to-be pivotal role.

A California native, Grace was born on June 23, 2004, in San Francisco and grew up in the Bay Area before eventually moving to Texas with her family. While the model-turned-actress has limited credits, she does appear in the 2024 action thriller 72 Hours.

1. Grace began her career modeling at age three when her parents submitted her photos to FORD. The agency immediately signed her. Her first gig was for a Macy’s campaign.

2. That career was briefly curtailed when she got braces at age seven. However, Grace signed with JE Talent when her braces were removed and later with Wilhelmina Models. She’s been featured in campaigns for Guess and Maleficent Toys.

3. Grace professed to be a big fan of one particular film genre during an interview with Naluda Magazine in 2016. “I love science fiction, especially Star Wars and Doctor Who and all the Marvel movies,” said Grace.

4. She also revealed the best advice she’d ever received: “Don’t do drugs,” she noted. “Not that I ever thought about it, but it is something that my parents and I have discussed, and I see how addiction can ruin lives.”

5. Grace has appeared in several music videos over the years. Among the most memorable is Wake Me Up by Swedish electronic music star Avicii. In fact, it has garnered over two billion views on YouTube.

6. As one might expect, she’s quite physically active. Over the years, she’s enjoyed skateboarding, going to the gym, boxing, and Muay Thai, a Thai martial art.
