Some players need more storylines...and a few need to fade away for a little while.
The Bold and the Beautiful is heading into 2025 with a bang. We’re hoping the new year brings on whole new levels of drama for the L.A. elite. As some storylines heat up and others fade into the background, we have a list of three characters we want to see on the frontburner…and three that need a break.
Pam (Alley Mills) needs to be back at her desk and stirring up the drama. As Eric’s (John McCook) sister-in-law and Donna’s (Jennifer Gareis) new bestie, she could really do some damage to the new regime. Not only can Pam keep an eye on things but once she gets to scheming, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope (Annika Noelle) will sorely regret this hostile takeover. We’d also love to finally have that Pam & Charlie wedding the show failed to give us a few years ago.
We were hoping for a big splash when Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) returned to Los Angeles but we haven’t seen much of her yet. It’s time to put this fashionista front and center and give her some storyline. We need to get Ivy on the road to romance. She’s single, Liam’s (Scott Clifton) is single. Perhaps they can be less single together. Plus, if Hope so much as bats her eyes at her baby daddy, Ivy will go nuclear!
While Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) was heavily involved in the mess with Poppy (Romy Park) and Luna (Lisa Yamada), we didn’t get nearly enough time with him on screen. We need MORE. So much more! Get Bill back to his rivalry against Ridge, have him chase after Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), and put Bill back on his powerhouse throne. Fans also need to see how he’s going to deal with Luna’s shocking obsession.
As fun as it’s been to have Remy (Christian Weissman) around, we hope his efforts to ruin Electra’s life fall flat and he gets what’s coming to him. Whether he runs off into the night or is handcuffed and put into the back of a cop car, we hope he’s caught soon.
Don’t get us wrong, we love Taylor. And, we’d love to see more of her…just not like this. Watching Taylor come home and deal with her broken heart hasn’t exactly had us on the edge of our seats. B&B either needs to give her a front burner story that isn’t the same old love triangle with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) or let her fade into the background for a little while.
Speaking of Ridge, he should go off for a while and think about what he really wants in life. It seems the only thing he has straight in his head is his passion for design, and until the family gets their company back, that’s on hold. Now would be a good time for him to take an extended vacation and get his head on straight.
