The Bold and the Beautiful News Update: Matthew Atkinson Checks in With His Fans

For much of last year and into this year, Matthew Atkinson dominated the action on The Bold and the Beautiful. His character, Thomas, was humiliated after his scheme to dump Zoe at the altar and marry Hope was exposed.

Catching Up With Matthew Atkinson

After that climactic scene, a semi-remorseful Thomas exited the Forrester mansion and hasn’t been seen since. Now, the actor has resurfaced on social media and is letting his fans know what he’s been doing since he self-quarantined.

“Hey guys,” the actor began the video by saying, “this is Matthew Atkinson from The Bold and the Beautiful and I just wanted to check in, see how things are going. Some people have been asking me what I’ve been doing during this time.  And, well, it’s consisted of a lot of building some things, and organizing things…

“Oh, hey, also, lifting things,” he said as he grabbed a barbell with some weights on it and performed a few curls, dryly offering, “This is much lighter than it looks, but I’m sort of running out of ideas so, I’d love to know what you guys have been doing. Tell me down in the comments below and I’ll just, you know, steal them and do that.

“Also, stay healthy, stay positive, and keep moving because we’re all going to make it through this together, okay? Now, for an exciting turn of events, I’m going to eat things!”

A few followers responded with what they’ve been up to — sleeping, cooking, playing Xbox — were among the responses, but most fans chose to comment on how much they liked Atkinson’s facial hair and physique!

Atkinson took over the role of Thomas over a year ago. Mourning the loss of his beloved Caroline (Linsey Godfrey), Thomas returned to Los Angeles with his young son Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri), hoping to make Hope (Annika Noelle) his bride and Douglas’ stepmother.
