Flo Fulton spent a lot of time reflecting on her actions on The Bold and the Beautiful once she knew that she’d played a role in Hope and Liam being separated from their daughter. In real-life, Flo’s portrayer, Katrina Bowden, has also been reflective in light of events that are sweeping the country and throughout the world.
Katrina Bowden: Learning And Changing
“Learning that what you thought you knew was actually only the tip of the iceberg is extremely uncomfortable,” Bowden mused in an Instagram post. “Identifying that certain things you do/say/think in your life could possibly add to the problems you want to change is uncomfortable. Realizing you aren’t as ‘woke’ as you thought you were is uncomfortable.
“I feel uncomfortable,” she continued. “But I’m also at a place now where I am comfortable feeling uncomfortable because focusing on ‘how I feel’ isn’t going to help anything. It’s not about me. Unlearning certain things we do that have been so deeply ingrained in us is tough work and has to be a commitment you make with yourself. I’m committed to actively doing and being better every day 👊🏻👊🏽👊🏾.”
Bowden’s followers appreciated her post, but one, @brian_greenidge, asked a more soap-related question: when is BB coming back with original episodes? “Hey!” Bowden responded. “Hopefully soon- we have to wait for the go-ahead from LA to start filming again.”
One of Bowden’s followers, @jenbillkylie, asked if BB could do a Zoom episode, meaning one in which the characters would interact with each other over the Internet and not necessarily face to face. Bowden responded: “LOL a Zoom episode would actually be pretty hysterical 🤣🤣.”
As soon as news becomes available that BB is going back into production, Soap Hub will let you know! The Bold and the Beautiful airs classic episodes weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
