On-screen, The Bold and the Beautiful star Don Diamont, who plays Bill, loves his sons Wyatt, Liam, and Will. The same can be said about the actor off-screen. He’s got seven (!) sons and he recently helped one ring in a milestone.
Diamont’s oldest son, Lauren, turned 31, recently, and the actor posted on Instagram a celebration that was thrown for him. The actor and his wife, Cindy Ambuehl (ex-Kim), peppered Lauren with kisses and treated him to a birthday cake complete with lit candles!
“We had a blast @foreignlauren’s ‼️birthday‼️dinner,” Diamont posted. “Happy 31st Lauren!❤️.”
Birthday wishes came from Darin Brooks (Wyatt), who posted: “HBD dude! 👍🤙😎.” Lauren thanked his dad for his birthday celebration. Last year, Diamont published his memoir, My Seven Sons and How We Raised Each Other: (They Only Drive Me Crazy 30% of the Time). The book tells the tale of how Diamont came to raise seven sons and delves into the actor’s professional and personal life.
BB made its debut on March 23, 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. The serial has told tales of romance, love, and intrigue while also presenting several important social issues including breast cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, alcoholism, homelessness, HIV/AIDS, being transgender, and child abuse. The show is currently celebrating its 33rd year. It has won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series three times in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
The Bold and the Beautiful is one of four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). Bradley Bell serves as the show’s executive producer and head writer. Two cast members — John McCook (Eric) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) — have been with the show since its inception. BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
