The Bold and the Beautiful is not to be deterred. While the show has had to hit the pause button on a return to the studio in order to nail down the proper testing techniques to ensure safety, one very enthusiastic cast member reported for duty this week!

Darin Brooks Is Back On Set

“Back at it! Day 1! Good to be back! ❤️ you all!” posted Darin Brooks (Wyatt) on Instagram. “#SetLife @boldandbeautifulcbs.”

The actor’s co-stars and pals wrote back on social media, adding to his post their own messages of support. Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) said, “GET IT IN!!!!!!!!!!” Kiara Barnes (Zoe) posted two applause symbols: “👏🏽👏🏽.” Brooks’ TV dad, Don Diamont (Bill), posted: “👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.”

It’s only natural that Brooks would be one of the first stars back to work as Wyatt was involved in one of the show’s big cliffhangers this past spring. As viewers recall, Wyatt walked into the beach house — which many BB characters have resided in over the years — just as Sally (Courtney Hope) and Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) were dragging an unconscious Flo (Katrina Bowden) out of the room.

Were the two women able to hide Flo in time? Or will Wyatt catch them in the act? Even if it’s the former, there’s only so long that Sally will be able to keep secret from Wyatt that she’s not really dying. She’s counting on him realizing he’s really in love with her and not Flo. Even if Wyatt does come to that conclusion, can he forgive Sally for her deception?

This all began when Wyatt dumped Sally the first time after learning she withheld from him the secret that Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) had designs on Hope (Annika Noelle). Wyatt kicked Flo out of his life after learning that she had kept an even bigger secret — that baby Beth was really alive! After he calmed down (and had reconciled with Sally), he decided to break things off with Sally again, earning him the nickname “Waffling Wyatt!”

Stay tuned for news on when BB will begin airing original episodes once more. Until then, classic re-broadcasts are airing in the show’s regular time slot. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
