There’s no traditional red carpet this year at the Daytime Emmys, so The Bold and the Beautiful star Courtney Hope is taking a look back at some fashion looks she’s worn from other ceremonies.

On-screen, Hope plays BB’s Sally Spectra, namesake and grand niece of the first Sally Spectra (played by the late, great Darlene Conley). She ran her own fashion house, Spectra Fashions, which shared the runway with Forrester Creations.

“In honor of today @daytimeemmys airing on @cbstv tonight,” Hope posted on Instagram, “here are some of my last three years Emmy carpet, presenting and party looks with my man [Chad Duell, Michael, General Hospital]! Miss being with everyone in this day of celebration! Good luck to everyone tonight ❤️😍✨ @boldandbeautifulcbs #DaytimeEmmys2020.”

Duell’s GH wife, Katelyn MacMullen (Willow), wrote on Hope’s post: “Gorgeous!💖” Hope replied: “thanks love, good luck tonight ❤️🥰🥰.” MacMullen is nominated for Outstanding Young Performer in a Drama Series tonight for her role as GH’s Willow.

The Daytime Emmys began in 1973. Awards were handed out in New York City at the Channel Gardens at Rockefeller Center in New York. Other locales include Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, and the Waldorf Astoria hotel. In 2007, the ceremony moved to the West Coast and was broadcast for two years from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. They next moved to the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

In 2010 and 2011, the Daytime Emmys moved to Las Vegas! Next, they returned to the Los Angeles area and were held at various venues including the Beverly Hilton, the Westin Bonaventure, and the Warner Bros. Studios lot. For the last few years, the Daytime Emmys have been held at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, Calif. Viewers have seen the awards on the Web.

This year, nominees will be announced during a live television broadcast that is like no other — it’s being held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards air tonight, Friday, June 26 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
