The Bold and the Beautiful News Update: Ashley Jones Celebrates Her Son

Child characters on soaps often experience SORAS (Soap Opera Rapid-Aging Syndrome) where they go from toddlers to teenagers overnight. That doesn’t happen in the real world, but Ashley Jones of The Bold and the Beautiful would agree that time still goes by quickly when it comes to raising children.

“You light up the world, my little man,” Jones posted on Instagram as her son, Hayden, turns 4 years old. “You are pure pure joy. Happy 4th BIRTHDAY. I love you with my whole heart. Forever. 💙 your mommy.” #thisis4 #haydenjhandmommy #fouryearsold #quarantinebirthdays.”

You can see in the post below that Jones has included multiple photos of her son from over the years showing how he’s grown up. The actress’s co-stars, past and present, chimed in with well-wishes for Hayden.

“Each picture [is] incredibly sweet!” posted Lauralee Bell (Christine, The Young and the Restless). Jones’ former TV YR sibling, Sabryn Genet (ex-Tricia), posted: “Happy Birthday Sweet Hayden! I can’t believe you are 4 already! 💙🎂🎉”

“Happy Happy Birthday!!!” posted Karla Mosley, who’s character Maya on BB is Jones’ former sister-in-law.

Ashley Jones made her daytime debut in 1997 when she was cast as ingenue Megan Dennison on YR while Jones was still a student at Pepperdine University. She played the part for a few years, earning two Daytime Emmy nominations in the category of Outstanding Younger Leading Actress.

After leaving YR, Jones screen-tested for the role of Billie (which went to Julie Pinson) when Days of our Lives was recasting the part. Jones wasn’t done with soaps. She landed the role of Bridget in 2004 and has played the part on and off ever since.

During one of her BB breaks, she joined General Hospital in the recurring role of Parker Forsyth. Soap Hub wishes Hayden a happy 4th birthday and many happy returns! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
