Ronn Moss no longer plays Ridge on The Bold and the Beautiful, but the fan favorite is still singing. Known for his 1978 hit, Baby Come Back, which he performed as a member of Player, Moss has a new album coming your way!
“My new album Lockdown Lover is released and ready for download on iTunes,” Moss shared on Instagram. “These are cover songs that I recorded in Belgium and Italy during the lockdown, including my new version of Baby Come Back.”
Other songs on the album include Nothing Compares to You, Wild Thing, Ordinary World, Someone You Loved, Drive, Folsom Prison, Beyond the Great Divide, and I Will Always Love You. You can download Lockdown Lover on iTunes.
Prior to becoming an original cast member of The Bold and the Beautiful, Moss was part of a talent development program at ABC. That division helped launch the careers of talk show host Arsenio Hall, as well as actors Ann Jillian (It’s a Living), Tom Hanks (Bosom Buddies; Castaway), Sinbad, Donna Dixon (Bosom Buddies), and Michael Pare (Eddie and the Cruisers).
While Moss left the alphabet network to become a star on CBS Daytime, he eventually returned to ABC, appearing as himself along with members of Player on an episode of General Hospital in 2014. They performed their hit song, Baby Come Back, as part of the Nurses Ball. Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) introduced Player in order to upstage the tango being performed by Emma (Brooklyn Lynn Selzer) and Cameron (then, Michael Leone).
Spencer thanked Moss for performing at the ball. Moss replied he’d do anything for Spencer’s great-grandmother Lesley (Denise Alexander) as she is, in Moss’s words, “a real peach.”
Next up for Moss is a role in Trail Blazers, which features an all-star cast and is described as the “ultimate battle between good and evil, between darkness and light, between God and Satan himself [featuring] 8 Heroes vs 8 Villains.” The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
