Pierson Fodé, who had a Daytime Emmy-nominated run as Thomas Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, has landed a role in a feature film with some very recognizable names and the actor is over the moon.
The role is in the film The Man from Toronto and it comes after spending a decade pursuing his dream. “10 years…” posted Fode. “10 damn challenging years. Sleepless nights. Sacrifice after sacrifice. This isn’t a humble brag. This is a proud moment. I woke up feeling like everything I’ve done is worth it.
“Like that farm boy’s dream has become this man’s reality. I know it only gets more difficult but I love a challenge. I’m proud. I’m humbled. I’m treating myself to something fancy like a pair of ‘new boots’. Most importantly I’m going to work harder than ever to solidify my dreams. #manfromtoronto @sonypictures.”
The Man from Toronto stars Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory), Woody Harrelson (Cheers), Kevin Hart (Ride Along), and Fodé. Variety reports that the film’s plot involves a case of mistaken identity once the world’s deadliest assassin and Hart’s character encounter one another at an Airbnb.
Patrick Hughes is the film’s director. His other credits include The Hitman’s Bodyguard. The script was written by Robbie Fox and Chris Bremmer from a story conceived with Jason Blumenthal. Producers on the film are Blumenthal, Todd Black, and Steve Tisch.
Celebrity pals are weighing in with posts of support and congratulations to Fodé. “Get it bro!!!🔥🔥,” wrote Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter), Fodé’s former BB co-star.
“One of the cutest Cute Boi’s I ever did see!!!” wrote Brock O’Hurn (Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween). “Proud of you brother. The Best is Yet to Come!”
