Mercifully, Flo wasn’t kept captive in Sally’s apartment for very long, but Flo’s portrayer, Katrina Bowden, can relate to staying cooped up. The Bold and the Beautiful beauty took to social media to share what it’s been like spending so much time at home while the show was on hiatus.
Katrina Bowden Has Made Discoveries
“I’ve learned a lot from staying inside for the majority of these past 5 months,” Bowden posted on Instagram. “For instance: this staircase gets the best lighting in my house AND accumulates an insane amount of white dog hair daily that I have to vacuum up every time I want to get a pic…”
Having to clean up all the pet hair led to the actress having an epiphany. “EVERYTHING in life is a balance my friends…even the best things come with a little downside,” Bowden notes, “but at the end of the day you have to ask yourself- does the good part outweigh the bad part? For vanity reasons, in this case, the good outweighs the bad. OR I could just shave the dogs🙏.” (Note: Bowden’s clearly jesting about taking clippers to her beloved pooch.)
“Thank you for always spreading positive vibes Katrina,” posted @javierrojas10, “you have such a kind heart!!❤️😊.”
What began as a potential short term role has turned into quite a nice run for Bowden. She joined the show last year as the plot involving baby Beth thickened. Viewers learned that Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) stole Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope’s (Annika Noelle) baby so he could sell it to Taylor (Hunter Tylo) who gave the infant to her daughter Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) so that her daughter Kelly could have a sister.
Flo felt horrible about her role in the crime after the fact, but not so much that she confessed all to Wyatt (Darin Brooks). Still, he managed to forgive her, and Flo and Wyatt are solid (for now!) The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
