The Bold and the Beautiful News: Katherine Kelly Lang Reveals Secrets From The Set

Brooke and Ridge may not have much to kiss about these days now that Ridge has a new wife in Shauna on The Bold and the Beautiful. But when the show does have the supercouple lock lips, Katherine Kelly Lang reveals it won’t actually be them doing the smooching!

“During this crazy time of Covid 19 we have to be creative with the filming of certain scenes,” Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) shared on Instagram in a post that contains a video of Brooke and Ridge kissing. “This is the scene that my honey, Dom, had to step in for. You can see nothing but love on my face getting to work with sweetie for this scene. So cute!

“Dom, you did an amazing job being there for me and I love your hand shots hugging me and the back of your man wig. 😂Thank you for doing this!” Lang adds. “I love u!❤️Poor Thorsten [Kaye, Ridge] had to kiss a mannequin with a wig on its head. But great job to Thorsten too for selling it! And kudos for @boldandbeautifulcbs for figuring all this out! 👍 #boldandbeautiful.”

“As soon as Thorsten smiled,” posted @jojan12345678. “I thought that was his real smile not his character’s smile because he’s kissing a mannequin!!!! We are just glad that you’re all back on the air!”

BB hasn’t hidden the steps the show is taking in order to show intimacy between the characters. Not only has revealing some of the inside secrets afforded the show a lot of great publicity, but it’s allowing the show’s fans to feel more involved in the show as viewers pay extra close attention to certain scenes as they figure out what’s going on.
