Fans of Don Diamont are well aware that the actor is a hands-on dad with his sons. So, it’s no surprise that The Bold and the Beautiful star is missing his college-bound son Luca — who hasn’t even left for school yet!
“Last training day with @lucadiamont before heading back to @dukefootball . @cindyambuehl and I are so grateful for their stringent safety protocols, and Coach Cutcliffe’s leadership! We miss you already‼️❤️❤️❤️ Thank God for FaceTime!!!”
Luca Diamont is bound for Notre Dame where he’ll quarterback for the university’s football team.
Many parents are sending their kids off to college this year with new worries due to the coronavirus pandemic and learning that college life will look a lot different this year to help mitigate possible COVID outbreaks. Most colleges also plan to end in-person learning by Thanksgiving and finish the semester online from students’ homes.
Two years ago, Don Diamont released his memoir, My Seven Sons and How We Raised Each Other: (They Only Drive Me Crazy 30% of the Time), available now on Amazon.
The Bold and the Beautiful was created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell and made its debut on March 23, 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. The families that were in the debut episode — the Forresters, Logans, and Spencers — remain in the forefront of the program today.
The show’s most enduring love story is the one between Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). BB’s backdrop is the glamorous world of fashion, but the show is known for telling social issue storylines, addressing such topics as homelessness, alcoholism, HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer’s disease, and transgender identity. No longer the new kid on the block, BB is established as one of television’s longest running programs and is one of the world’s most widely watched television shows. Lang and John McCook (Eric) have been with BB since its inception.
BB is one of four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas are General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). Bradley Bell serves as the show’s executive producer and head writer. BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
