There’s an old show business adage about how actors should never work with scene-stealing precocious children or adorable animals. Fortunately, Courtney Hope of The Bold and the Beautiful has no such qualms. In fact, the actress recently shared an adorable story about her dog, Bentley, meeting a chicken!

“Sometimes you gotta revel in your victories,” posted Hope, who plays scrappy “have not” Sally Spectra on BB, “no matter how small 🥇🐓🐕 … The story goes like this:
“Dogs meet chickens for the first time. We concluded the dogs DID NOT want to make friends with the chickens like we did. We fed the chickens and then went back to our walk- but not before …. Bentley barked one last time and the chicken flapped its wing and lost a feather that proceeded to fly through the cage…This was all Bentley needed for his pride to be stoked. He was victorious at last, and held on to his trophy for an hour before we threw it away. (Because 1: GERMS, and 2: he tried to hide it in the couch then eat it. SOOO, that’s a no.)
