The Bold and the Beautiful Rena Sofer and Katherine Kelly Lang
They may be feuding on-screen on The Bold and the Beautiful as Brooke and Quinn, but off-screen, their portrayers, Katherine Kelly Lang and Rena Sofer, are on the same page when it comes to the coronavirus. They’re focusing on the positive.
Sofer feels — and some markets and stores are doing just this — that older citizens should be allowed to enter an establishment first in the morning to get their shopping done.
“We all have to work together in this!!” Sofer said in an Instagram post. “@traderjoes @ralphsgrocery @gelsonsmarkets @vons @wholefoods please!!! Let’s help each other out. Thinking of ourselves and our best needs does not mean we should be thoughtless to those who need help. And please think of people you know who live check to check whose jobs have just been suspended/ended because of #covid_19 We need to remember our humanity at a time like this. Thank you!! 🙏🏻❤️💋.”
Meanwhile, Lang is giving a well-deserved shoutout to medical personnel who are at the forefront of aiding those who have tested positive for the coronavirus and developed COVID-19.
“Let’s all show some love to the health care workers that are working tirelessly around the clock during this time!” Lang tweeted. “Much love and respect! Thank you for your sacrifice and kindness!”
On-screen, the battle lines have been drawn between Brooke and Quinn. Brooke has told Eric (John McCook) that she doesn’t think Quinn is the right woman for him. Quinn is determined to split Brooke and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) up so that her pal Shauna (Denise Richards) can snag the Forrester designer.
Currently, BB and the other three broadcast soaps — The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, and Days of our Lives, are all taking a break in light of coronavirus concerns. The Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, originally set for June 12, 13, and 14 has been canceled also due to coronavirus.
