Since its inception, The Bold and the Beautiful has maintained a strong relationship with its loyal fans. Alas, holding a traditional meet-and-greet with viewers wasn’t feasible due to the current pandemic. So, the half-hour soap recently did the next best thing, hosting a drive-through/Pop Up fan event on the TV City lot in Los Angeles in honor of the show’s 34th anniversary.
The Bold and the Beautiful’s 34th Anniversary Event
Viewers who couldn’t make it can see the event, which was attended by not only nearly the entire cast but series executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell, too, by clicking on Katherine Kelly Lang’s (Brooke) Instagram post below. In another post, Lang summarized her feelings on being a part of the show for the last nearly three and a half decades.
“Happy 34th Anniversary to @boldandbeautifulcbs!!” Lang wrote. “Congrats to Brad Bell for keeping the show going so strong and running so smoothly and always thinking of new and innovative ways to do things.
“Keep those fantastic shows coming Brad for years to come!” Lang added. “Thanks to all the fans for being so kind and supportive and loyal to us! You guys are what keeps us ticking. We love you! And thanks to every single person who works on BB for their hard work and dedication to keep this show a success. Lots of love to all!! Cheers! 😃💃🎉.”
The show’s other original cast member, John McCook (Eric), shared on Lang’s post: “❤️ Great to see so many drive-thru BB fans after shooting six new episodes for Eric!! Glad he’s back.”
“@johntmccook so fun and inspiring to work with you all these years John! You are a remarkable person! Love you!❤️,” Lang responded.
“Thank you so much for doing this! Felt like we were part of your celebration!!” posted BB devotee @skaybruce. “Congratulations on 34 years and many more to come!! 👏👏👏.”
