Who’s coming and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring, or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Bold and the Beautiful fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of November 9, 2020
Big Brother will be in the house, again. The Forrester fashion house, that is. Da’Vonne Rogers, who won America’s Favorite Houseguest on CBS’ Big Brother: All-Stars and was awarded $25,000 in conjunction with the title, landed another prize, too. She’ll guest on a future episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.
Rogers shared the news on Twitter, noting that she was currently going over her script. It won’t be the first time she’ll appear on the show. She was on BB back in 2016, following her first stint on Big Brother.
BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
It is one of four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
