The Bold and the Beautiful C&G News

Who’s coming and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of our Lives fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.

The week of January 27, 2020

Due to last week’s preemptions, Andreas Georgiou will now begin his stint as a doctor on Wednesday, January 30. He will also air on Thursday, January 31. Georgiou, who is known to Greek television audiences for his role in the soap 8 LEXEIS, will interact with Courtney Hope’s Sally when she seeks medical advice for some recent health concerns.

Henry Joseph Samiri is back as young Douglas Forrester, Thomas’ (Matthew Atkinson) son on Tuesday, January 28.

Zoe Pennington resurfaces as Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) daughter, Kelly Spencer, on Monday, January 27.

Please note that due to continuing impeachment coverage, air dates may be subject to change. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.

The Bold and the Beautiful History

BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
