Greek actor/director Andreas Georgiou begins a stint as a doctor on Thursday, January 23 and appears again on Friday, January 24. He’ll share scenes with Courtney Hope’s Sally, who’s been having some medical concerns of late.
Georgiou has a previous connection to the soap. He worked with Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), when she appeared on the Greek soap 8 LEXEIS
On the kid front, Henry Joseph Samiri is back as young Douglas Forrester on Wednesday, January 22, while Zoe Pennington airs as Kelly Spencer on Tuesday, January 21.
BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
