Who’s coming and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)?

The week of June 28, 2021
Daytime veteran Ted King is joining the B&B fold in a pivotal new role. He’ll be playing Tanner Novlan’s (Finn) father, Jack, and is set to debut in late July. King has appeared on four other soaps: Loving and The City (as Danny Roberts), General Hospital (as Luis and Lorenzo Alcazar), and One Life to Live (as Tomas Delgado).
Novlan’s TV mom has also been cast. Naomi Matsuda will portray Li and debut in early August. The actress recurred as Tori on Days of our Lives back in 2015.
Christina Carlisi plays Joanne, the midwife who helps deliver Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby, on Thursday, July 1. The actress was on the soap back in 2016, when Joanne delivered Caroline’s (Linsey Godfrey) son, Douglas.
Mike Nordike is back on the scene as a prison guard on Monday, June 26. Please note that air dates may be subject to change.
B&B made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines with the backdrop of the fashion world setting the stage for epic romances have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From the first decades with Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that continues to this day, BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
