It looks like viewers will be seeing less of Katrina Bowden’s Flo Fulton for awhile. The actress, who has been on the front burner in major storylines over the past few months — first, baby Beth’s illegal adoption and then, Katie’s (Heather Tom) heart transplant plot — is filming a movie in Australia.
Bowden shared the news on Instagram, noting that she’d be on location for the next 6-1/2 weeks. There’s no word as to how the soap will address her absence.
Henry Joseph Samiri is back as Douglas Forrester, this week. He’ll air Monday, October 28 through F all week of 28 through Friday, November 1.
BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and Days of Our Lives (DAYS).
