Alley Mills, who’s played the late Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) sister, Pam Douglas, since 2006, is reportedly no longer under contract with the soap. The actress has been moved to recurring status. Pam, however, isn’t exiting the show and will continue to be featured on and off as the receptionist at Forrester Creations.
The town’s favorite attorney is back on the scene, this week. Lawrence Saint-Victor returns as Carter Walton on Friday, November 22. Look for his character to address a family legal matter. Henry Joseph Samiri pops back in as young Douglas Forrester on Friday, November 22.
BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and Days of Our Lives (DAYS).
