Who’s coming and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)?

A popular leading lady will soon be leaving the CBS soap. Kiara Barnes, who plays Forrester model Zoe Buckingham, has landed a lead in the Fox primetime series Fantasy Island, a reboot of the 1978-1984 drama. As a result, she’ll soon be wrapping up her run on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Barnes first joined the cast as Zoe in July of 2018 and is currently involved in a front-burner storyline. There’s no official word as to how the show will handle her departure. However, a recast is possible.

BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines with the backdrop of the fashion world setting the stage for epic romances have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From the first decades with Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that continues to this day, BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
