Cast members from The Bold and the Beautiful teamed up to put together a video to allay concerns the show’s fans may be having during the coronavirus crisis. While they usually appear in scenes together, this time BB players spoke their lines as solo acts.
Actors taking part in the feel-good video include Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Don Diamont (Bill), Heather Tom (Katie), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), Darin Brooks (Wyatt), Jennifer Gareis (Donna), Courtney Hope (Sally), Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter), Annika Noelle (Hope), Matthew Atkinson (Thomas), and John McCook (Eric).
Cast members were shot at what appeared to be their homes and spoke directly into the camera as they reassured members of the show’s loyal fanbase that they know these are challenging times and assured viewers that “we’re all in this together.”
“I know it’s a crazy time right now,” noted Wood. Said Tom: “If you’re like me, you’re probably at home, glued to the TV.”
Noelle said that you might be “talking to the cat…” or, as Atkinson, noted, you’re “taking down the Christmas decorations. That’s right. They’re still up.”
“It’s normal to feel overwhelmed,” assured Hope. Tom added: “We’re all connected.” McCook stated: “We’re all in this together.”
“Stay strong,” Lang advised. Clifton shared some oft-spoken words that hopefully will be of help at this time: “This too shall pass.”
Kudos to the folks who put this intimate and comforting video together, which you can check out below. BB recently celebrated both its 33rd anniversary, having debuted on March 23, 1987, and a ratings achievement in which the show was the top serial in total viewers and key demographics for the first time ever. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
