Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Playing House
After a long day of playing happy family with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Kelly, and Phoebe, Liam (Scott Clifton) began to see what he and Hope ended their marriage for.
During a conversation with Steffy, he admitted that he loved being there for her and the little ones: He loves his baby daughter and he even feels like a real father to Phoebe.
After Liam told her that he and Hope (Annika Noelle) signed the annulment papers, Steffy invited him to move into the guest room and he happily accepted.
Thomas Keeps Shtoom
Disgusted at the betrayal and pain inflicted by Reese, Flo (Katrina Bowden), and Zoe (Kiara Barnes), Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) made a beeline for his sister’s house determined to reveal the painful truth about baby Phoebe’s origins.
Upon his arrival, however, Thomas became aware of how happy and content Liam and Steffy were and he began to contemplate that he now had the opportunity to make a life with Hope and his son.
So, against all better judgment, Thomas didn’t expose the secret and instead offered a half-realized excuse that he came to tell them that Hope would approve of their new living situation.

His actions stunned the group and both Flo and Xander argued that Thomas was hoarding the secret for his own selfish reasons.
Increasingly frustrated, Thomas threatened the three with total ruin if they ever dared to try and reveal the truth. Reluctantly, they agreed to continue the deception.
One Day At a Time
Later, Thomas met up with Hope and they discussed Liam’s new living arrangements, which Thomas pointed out is exactly what Hope wanted.
He broached the subject of Hope and him having a romantic future together and even kissed her but Hope pulled back and insisted that she was not ready for anything more than taking their friendship, “one day at a time.”
A Mother’s Worry
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) confided in Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that she found Thomas’s interest in Hope a bit disconcerting… with it happening so soon after Caroline’s death and Hope and Liam’s separation.
She was also wary because Thomas had not always been the most stable of individuals, and as she pointed out, the initial romance between him and Hope was such a long time ago and not that serious.
She was later disturbed to find Thomas embracing Hope at the cabin, but she turned and left without saying anything.
