The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, July 24, 2020, featured Sally’s lies falling apart, Wyatt’s world turning upside down, and Ridge getting a heartbreaking call.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
The message on Sally’s (Courtney Hope) bottom worked and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) demanded answers. Sally tried to divert and deflect but it did no good. She admitted Flo was at her apartment with Penny. Wyatt ran right over.
The Truth Came Out
In perhaps the most anti-climatic kidnapping scene in soap history, Wyatt kicked down Sally’s door and cuts off Flo’s (Katrina Bowden) restraint. They kissed, they hugged, they cried like they didn’t just see each other that very morning.
Then, Wyatt got the lowdown of Sally’s dirty little scheme. She was never dying, she was never in danger, and she wanted to lock Wyatt down with a baby. Oh yeah, Wyatt heard it all.
Sally Gave Up
Back at the beach house, Sally mourned her loss and told Penny (Monica Ruiz) the charade was over. The doc had shown up to throw Sally under the bus but now that the truth was coming out, she was not happy. Penny knew she could lose everything.
The Call No Father Wants
Meanwhile, set the scene for even more tears and anguish. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) remained stable but she was seriously injured and stayed unconscious. Bill (Don Diamont) had no choice but to call Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) with the news.
Ridge was at the office when he heard from Bill. The bad news is, his daughter was hurt, the good news is, the ringing of that phone put an end to a conversation with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Logan was once again trying to explain away her cheating and he had enough (hi, pot, meet kettle, I’m sure you’ll make great friends).
Ridge rushed to the hospital with Brooke in tow. He was a mess and worried about Steffy. He was also curious as to how Bill found out before he did. Unfortunately, the doc came out to speak to Ridge before Dollar Bill had a chance to confess. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
