After spying on Electra (Laneya Grace) at II Giardino, Remy (Christian Weissmann) made his move by surprising his friend with his presence. Electra was shocked yet pleased to see Remy. The two pals chat for a while; then, as Electra leaves, she tells Remy they should hang out sometime. “Count on it,” Remy replies. Based on Remy’s behavior, Electra will bump into him more often, something she should be cautious of.

At Hope’s (Annika Noelle) cabin, she and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) agree to move forward with their takeover of Forrester Creations. The business talk puts the new power couple in a romantic mood as they make love on the cabin floor. But their celebratory mood might not last long now that their secret has been exposed.

Meanwhile, at Forrester Creations, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is reeling from Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) revelation of Carter and Hope’s business coup. “So your daughter and Carter decided to take over control of this company?” Ridge asks Brooke, who is just as upset as he is. Ridge will blame the couple equally, but Brooke will have a different view, especially with her daughter involved.

Later, it’s time for Ridge to face the friend who stabbed him in the back. Carter arrives at the office, where Ridge is sitting behind the desk. Ridge remains calm as he tells an angry Carter that he knows about the takeover. Carter must face the consequences of his actions, but it won’t stop his and Hope’s plan. Things are going to get ugly at Forrester Creations as the battle over control of the company heats up.
