Quinn (Rena Sofer) is at a loss for words when Eric (John McCook) pushes and pries. What is really going on with his wife? He senses something lurking under the surface. Thankfully for Quinn, Shauna (Denise Richards) steps in to save the scene.

Besties Unite

Shauna comes up with a plausible excuse as to why Quinn’s a mess. Do you realize the state of your marriage, Eric? Things are not exactly going well. Of course, Quinn is on edge. She is afraid of losing everything, the poor thing.

Will Eric buy it, though? He is a smart man and this is not his first time in a bad marriage. In fact, he is probably well versed in divorce law by now. However, he sees Shauna as the honest type (for what reason, we don’t know) and takes almost everything she says at face value. So, why wouldn’t he believe this too?

A Lesson In Manners

Over at the office, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) starts up about Quinn and goes on and on about the schemer. She has never understood what her ex-husband saw in Quinn or why he is still with her. Spoilers show the gossip is hot and Brooke can’t help taking some digs at her enemies.

Brooke gets an earful when Carter overhears. Not only does he stand up for his secret lover but he puts Brooke in her place. Let’s just say, Brooke will not see this coming. She is used to being able to gossip and gripe without consequences.

Well, not anymore. At least not around Carter. But will his sticking up for Quinn set off alarm bells for Brooke? The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
