Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers September 24: Steffy Senses Taylor’s Secret

A Deep Bond

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is overjoyed that her mom, Taylor (Rebecca Budig), has returned home. Sure, they had daily video chats while Taylor was abroad — even including Steffy’s kids — but FaceTime isn’t the same as face-to-face. Truth be told, Steffy doesn’t just need Taylor around to help her battle the Logans. This mother and daughter share the deepest of bonds that go way beyond personal interest.

All along, Taylor has confided practically everything about her life to Steffy. Certainly, she shared her long-term heartache and angst over Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Steffy now senses that her mom is going through another internal struggle. However, Taylor’s secret that she is dying is too much to reveal to Steffy right now. So when Steffy asks Taylor if anything is happening, her mother brushes aside her concerns. How long can Taylor keep this devastating secret from her beloved daughter?

A Sincere Promise

Even though he is with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge is also thrilled that Taylor is back in LA to stay. He told her that directly. Ridge also promised Taylor that she would always be a part of the Forrester family, no matter what. Taylor was clearly moved to hear Ridge’s show of loyalty to her. Ridge most likely tells Steffy this same promise that Taylor will always be at the center of their lives. Steffy may be comforted to hear her father will never abandon Taylor. Then, Ridge shares this information with his current paramour. Brooke did just extend an offer of friendship to Taylor, who graciously accepted. But how will Brooke feel about Ridge’s declaration of love and support for Taylor? Will she continue to be mature and friendly, or will she start to feel a bit threatened?
