On the Monday, October 28 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers reveal that Steffy and Ridge weigh the pros and cons of Carter’s radical proposal for Forrester Creations. Though Carter’s plan is dynamic and exciting, the Forresters remain wary of the huge financial risk. Meanwhile, Brooke is shocked to see Hope and Carter fooling around in the office. It’s sure to be a surprising day that you don’t want to miss.
Corporate Vision
Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) made quite a compelling case for taking Forrester Creations in a bigger direction. He clearly won over Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Zende (Delon de Metz), who were ready to jump on board. However, the big guns at Forrester were a lot more cautious. Eric (John McCook) quickly pointed out that mergers and acquisitions would require taking out enormous loans and be a big financial risk. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) agreed.
Even if Carter impressed Steffy a bit, she still said after he and Hope left that Hope for the Future needs to go. As Carter goes to “celebrate” with Hope, Steffy and Ridge are left to seriously debate the feasibility of his plan. Ridge and Steffy could be swayed by the idea of selling everything Forrester, with makeup and fragrance as the first natural extension. Cue a B&B crossover to Y&R, with Carter jetting off to Genoa City for a meeting at Jabot.
However, Steffy and Ridge may be too practical and conservative to support a reimagined Forrester Creations. They may also not be ready to give Carter so much influence and power.
Office Interlude
With all this excitement, Hope seemed ready to take her relationship with Carter to the next level right there in the office. Unfortunately, Brooke barged in right as shirtless Carter would lock the door. Brooke had previously been pleased with Carter’s friendship with and support for Hope. Now, seeing them in such a compromising position, Brooke does not seem happy at all.
Brooke called out Hope’s name with disappointment and reprimand. Was her daughter throwing herself at yet another man? Perhaps Brooke would have preferred seeing Carter and Hope having a romantic dinner at Il Giardino than throwing office etiquette to the wind.
Of course, Brooke has unbuttoned more than a shirt or two at the office, but she can break the rules. Can Hope convince her mom to stop judging her? More importantly, can they both convince Brooke to keep this liaison under wraps?
