Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers October 14: Brooke Thinks Taylor Is Going After Ridge

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, October 14, tease that after witnessing a moment between Ridge and Taylor, Brooke assumes it’s of a romantic nature. Carter, meanwhile, intervenes in an escalating argument between Hope and Steffy. It sounds like a heated day on B&B that you don’t want to miss.

Touching Her Heart

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was trying to keep it cool about Taylor’s (Rebecca Budig) return to town. She extended an olive branch of friendship. Then Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) started spending a lot of time with her. When she goes to see for herself what Taylor is doing, she finds her sitting very close to Ridge and deeply gazing into his eyes, with his hand on her heart.

Of course, Brooke didn’t see chakra healer Shandra (Minita Gandhi) guiding the proceedings. What else would any woman think?

Don’t expect Brooke to slink away in the shadows and keep quiet. She may not barge in and make a scene, but you can expect a confrontation with Taylor at a later moment.

Office Politics

Over at Forrester Creations, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are at each other’s throats again. Steffy keeps baiting Hope by repeatedly asserting how much Ridge still loves Taylor. We have already seen that although Hope’s job is at risk, she’s not letting Steffy verbally push her around. Hope will jab right back — especially now that she has Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) in her corner.

Carter will have to walk a fine line to de-escalate the tension and appease both parties. As part of the executive team, Carter needs to back up Steffy. However, if he wants to keep his romance going with Hope, he needs to show support for her as well. Who would want to be in the middle of such a sticky situation?
