May 12-16 will have many of The Bold and the Beautiful characters focusing on their future. One character asks their rival for help, while another character considers moving on from a broken relationship. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s ahead.

Thanks to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Hope (Annika Noelle) finally knows that Liam (Scott Clifton) is dying. Hope is struggling between her grief and continuing the plan of keeping Liam’s secret. This week, the exes have an emotional talk about their history, and Hope surprises Liam. “Our future is together, I don’t want to spend any more time apart,” she tells Liam. However, unbeknownst to Hope, her ex-boyfriend Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) overhears her declaration to Liam.
Later, a heartbroken Carter returns to the Forrester Creations office where he’s comforted by Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire). Carter thought he’d finally made progress in repairing his relationship with Hope. But after what he heard, it’s obvious Liam, not Carter, is the man for Hope. Daphne, who’s fallen in love with Carter realizes this is her chance to finally snag the handsome lawyer. “You and Hope aren’t meant to be,” Daphne tells Carter before kissing him. Will Carter heal his broken heart by giving in to temptation with Daphne?
Meanwhile, Liam is starting to get his affairs in order as his impending death looms. He visits Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) office to ask the doctor for a big favor. Steffy and Hope are important to Liam, and he wants to make sure they’re taken care of. Liam says that when and if the time comes when he’s gone, he wants Finn to bring Steffy and Hope together. Liam’s unaware that Steffy and Hope have already made amends now that they know Liam’s dying. The former rivals are committed to helping Liam during his final days, including finding him a miracle cure.
