B&B Spoilers: Li Faces Her Enemy Sheila, Ready to Do Battle

It's a nightmare for Li: Sheila is alive.

On the May 10 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers tease that Li, Finn’s adoptive mother, confronts the grim reality that Sheila Carter is alive. Li has an encounter with Finn’s biological mom that promises to be difficult and uneasy. Get ready for a showdown you don’t want to miss.

Bad Blood

Dr. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) isn’t one to shrink in fear of anyone, and that certainly includes Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). Li knows exactly how evil Sheila can be and shows a lot of bravado to keep her at bay. Remember their last meeting at Il Giardino? Li humiliated Sheila by dumping a whole dish of spaghetti marinara on her. Wanting to keep her job and prove to Deacon (Sean Kanan) that she had changed, Sheila showed much restraint and humbly wiped the pasta off.

Of course, there is a reason Li is so antagonistic towards Sheila. She had an affair with Li’s husband, Jack (Ted King), and gave birth to their son, Finn (Tanner Novlan). Jack hid the affair and that Sheila was Finn’s birth mother, as Li unknowingly raised Finn as her adoptive son. What’s more, Li will never forget how Sheila later chased her down in her car and slammed into it, pushing it off a cliff and leaving her for dead. That’s the kind of malice a person can never forgive.

Mothers Meet

When Li faces Sheila this time, it won’t be easy. Finn now believes in reformed Sheila and calls her mom. Li must bemoan, “What kind of twisted scheme did Sheila pull off to make this happen?!” Even worse, Sheila will likely play this interaction as she did with Hope (Annika Noelle): soft-spoken and repentant. We know that Li won’t buy it.

Never one to mince words, we expect a full-on show of force from Dr. Li. How will Sheila respond? Furthermore, how can Li threaten Sheila and put her in her place without alienating Finn?
