Finn tells Steffy he believes Sheila is innocent.
Spoilers for the July 23 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful tease that Finn changes his stance on Sheila. He reveals to Steffy that he now believes that Sheila did not kill Hollis or Tom. Surely, that will not go over well with his wife. Meanwhile, Katie continues to question Bill about his relationship with Poppy. That’s when Poppy eavesdrops on their conversation. It’s sure to be an intriguing B&B day.
Finn (Tanner Novlan) made a very strong show of support for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and demanded that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) be arrested. Everyone was pleased. Even Steffy’s ex-husband, Liam (Scott Clifton), dropped by to say he did the right thing.
The police department hauled Sheila in for questioning and did their job. Finn and Hope (Annika Noelle) got word of the investigation results, and it looked like there wasn’t enough evidence to arrest Sheila.
Finn is a logical guy. If the police find that the facts don’t add up for Sheila committing the murders, he will believe it. Hope may also convince Finn to give Sheila the benefit of the doubt. When Finn relates his newfound thoughts on Sheila to Steffy, it may feel like punching her in the gut. Finn and Steffy had just returned to a really good place in their relationship. Now, does he want to support Sheila again? Uh-oh.
Katie (Heather Tom) continues to show concern for Bill (Don Diamont) in his new relationship with Poppy (Romy Park). Katie’s gut kept telling her that something was not right about Poppy. When she sees her ex-husband again, she asks him many questions about his new love. (Watch the video preview here.) We don’t expect Katie to back off any time soon.
Poppy is listening just outside of the conversation. She realized that Katie was a major obstacle to her happy life with Bill. What will she overhear Bill say about her feelings for her? She could also hear something more unsettling: how Bill still has feelings for Katie.
