Like Mother, Like Daughter
Hope’s (Annika Noelle) obsessive thoughts about Finn (Tanner Novlan) aren’t going away. He really helped Hope work through her feelings about Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), as she ultimately gave her blessing on his engagement to Paris (Diamond White). Hope seemed like she regained her clarity of mind to make good decisions.
Unfortunately, that seems to have strengthened her attraction to Finn. We see Hope’s thoughts going off the deep end again. She dreams that she can tell Finn exactly how she feels about him, regardless of his wife, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) may see her daughter’s glazed eyes and sense exactly what’s going through her mind.
Brooke already warned Hope that she was playing with fire and should squash her feelings for Finn ASAP. In a revealing one-on-one, Brooke owned up to doing exactly what she fears Hope will do: come between a happily married couple. She admitted that she was selfish and hurt a lot of people. Didn’t Hope get the message?
Stronger Than Ever
Hope still seems wounded by her mother’s misdeeds and driven to make the same mistakes. How far will she go to gain Finn’s attention? Despite Finn showing up as a friend for Hope, he is more committed to Steffy than ever. The pair seems to have moved past his betrayal with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and brought the sizzle back to the bedroom.
Steffy and Finn show that they are completely in love and devoted to each other. But can their union withstand the temptations of others?
