We are all chomping at the bit to find out what’s inside Tom’s (Clint Howard) backpack. This item may be more than just a memento; it should give us a clue as to who would want Tom dead. At first, that seemed to be his ex-girlfriend, Poppy (Romy Park). Despite his insistence, she told Tom there is no way Luna (Lisa Yamada) is his daughter and warned him to keep away from them.
However, Poppy seemed genuinely surprised and mournful when she learned Tom had died. In contrast, Poppy’s sister, Li (Naomi Matsuda), is acting a bit strangely. She and her ex-husband, Jack (Ted King), hide details about the night Tom died after his concert from Finn (Tanner Novlan).
Why would Li and Jack want to keep certain information from Finn? It was funny how they both wound up at the show. Did anyone notice that Li didn’t flinch when Tom collapsed on stage? Wouldn’t a doctor usually rush to help?
