On the April 5 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers tease that Deacon cannot say goodbye to Sheila and he accompanies her body to the crematorium. Hope and Finn bond further during Sheila’s memorial service. Away from the tribute, Lauren and Eric continue to celebrate Sheila’s death. It sounds like a nostalgic, surprising, and emotional day all rolled into one.
Deacon (Sean Kanan) has been holding it together surprisingly well since Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) passing. He organized a tasteful tribute to his love and even got Finn (Tanner Novlan, who haunted his on-screen mom) and Hope (Annika Noelle) to attend. He has continued to work at Il Giardino and wasn’t even ruffled by disparaging comments about Sheila from the Logan sisters. Deacon appeared to be mourning but in control of his emotions.
Seeing Finn get so emotional over Sheila’s death may stir up more uncomfortable feelings for Deacon. After all, he was the closest person to Sheila and the only one who ever fully loved and supported her. As the ceremony ends and it’s time for Sheila’s casket to make its way to the morgue, Deacon is unable to let her go alone. He continues to accompany her remains to the crematorium.
What if Deacon were to see Sheila’s body for one last time before she is cremated? Is it possible that it’s not really Sheila? There could be a telltale sign, if the body is not missing a toe (Sheila’s unique distinguishing feature). As most viewers and critics believe, we may not be seeing the last of Sheila.
Sheila’s memorial service has also brought Finn and Hope closer together. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) couldn’t support Finn in mourning for his biological mother. However, Hope — who was there for Deacon — was able to step in and provide some comfort to Finn, too. Finn had quite an emotional moment saying goodbye to Sheila, and Hope was right there to help him through it. Hope and Finn’s connection only continues to grow.
Eric (John McCook) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) continue to remember Sheila and the long and sordid history that entails. At the Forrester mansion, they celebrate Sheila’s passing. To them, it means the end of danger and a threat. Goodbye and good riddance.
