It’s been a hot minute since Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been out with a man whose last name didn’t end in Forrester, Spencer, or Sharpe, and she’s understandably…nervous. Not to mention, this man is on the younger side.

While this isn’t the first time Brooke has been a cougar (remember that fateful night with Hope’s boyfriend), this IS the first time she’s truly meaning to proudly wear that badge. She’s ready for it.

Bold and Beautiful: A Breath Of Fresh Air

What is Brooke going to get out of this date? Flirty fun? Definitely. A whole relationship with a future? Maybe not. Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) is adorable, lovely, and a good time, but is he a serious contender for Brooke’s heart? Could he really be her future?

Does it matter? A future isn’t exactly what Brooke is looking for right now. Her heart still belongs to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and she’s simply seeking a good time and a way to prove to herself she can move on. No sense waiting around for Ridge to get it together.

Will this be the start of Brooke finding a way to a whole new life? Why not? She definitely deserves it after spending decades in one love triangle or another. Hollis may not be her end game, but it would be nice for her to find a man who loves her and only her.
